This year we marked the 50th anniversary of the passing of A.J. Heschel, one of the greatest philosophers of American Jewry, who became famous for his march alongside Martin Luther King. In the course, we will focus on the question of the connection between his thought and his social involvement. How did Heschel manage to combine the worship of God with social justice?
