We will study together primary sources from the Mishna and Gemara which highlight the behavior and teachings of the Rabbis of that period. We will examine these stories from a historical, literary, sociological and cultural point of view. Through our study we will gain an understanding of the rabbinic age and the influence specific Rabbis had on their generation and which continues to this very day.
