Lamentations – Doorways to Darkness
19:00 – Rabbi Benjamin Segal, past president of the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies, will teach using his newly published translation and commentary to the biblical Book of Lamentations (Eikhah). The book born, written, and preserved in pain is a historical reflection of Israel’s first loss of national independence.
