On December 13th, 2018, Neve Schechter drew a diverse crowd of art collectors, art lovers and other friends of the Schechter Institutes for an evening of mingling and art appreciation. That night, Neve Schechter held its first Exhibition and Sale of Contemporary Israeli Art.
The elegant upstairs hall was full with over a hundred colorful art pieces by twenty-six Israeli artists, including works of Sigalit Landau and a series of works by Uri Lifschitz. There was something for everyone: photographs, video art, sculpture, paintings and works created with multimedia.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit Neve Schechter’s programming: a unique point of interaction between Jewish ideas and contemporary Israeli culture.
