The Schechter Institutes wishes hearty congratulations to it alumni and faculty on the awarding of honorary degrees from the Jewish Theological Seminary. The ceremony takes place on January 26th in New York. Dr. Eitan Chikli, Susan and Scott Shay Director General, TALI along with Rabbi Roberto Arbib, Neve Schechter Educational Director will be honored for 25 or more years in the rabbinate. Other honorees include Rabbi Mauricio Balter, Director of Masorti Olami and a Midreshet Schechter board member, Rabbi Michael Gottlieb, a member of the board of The Schechter Institutes and Rabbi Ari Bursztein, Schechter Rabbinical Seminary alum.
